Key Responsibilities
As a Lead in Blood Reduction Program Officer, you will:
Coordinate and Communicate:
- Monitor blood lead results and identify employees exceeding thresholds outlined in the NPP Protocol for Blood Lead Management.
- Share SMS notifications regarding blood lead levels with employees, contractors, and site supervisors.
Support Blood Lead Reduction Plans:
- Collaborate with Occupational Nurses to design and implement blood lead reduction plans for workers exceeding thresholds.
- Counsel and mentor employees with high blood lead levels on steps to reduce risk, supporting their health and productivity.
Maintain and Report Data:
- Track site-wide blood lead levels and compliance with blood lead reduction programs.
- Provide routine reporting on blood lead management performance to key stakeholders.
About You
We are seeking a motivated individual with the skills and mindset to succeed in this role:
- Outstanding attention to detail, ensuring accurate monitoring and reporting of blood lead levels.
- A proactive attitude and ability to drive innovative solutions within health and safety initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and an aptitude for using technology to support project delivery.
