Overview of the role
Applications are now open for a Part-time Administration Assistant to join the Operational Management Team located in our Adelaide Office. The Administration Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the Adelaide Office. While this is a self-directed role where you will largely work autonomously, the position reports to and is fully supported by the Executive Assistant who is based in Port Pirie, one of our two operational sites. This opportunity is based on a 30-hour roster, offering family-friendly flexibility working six hours per day, five days per week.
What you will be doing
- Manage access to the Adelaide Office
- Oversee facilities management and ensuring equipment and resources of the office are available
- Calendar management and administrative support of the Regional Management team
- Coordinate meetings and events
What we are looking for
- 2-3 years of experience in an administration or professional support role with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
- A keen eye for detail
- Capability to manage competing priorities, often at short notice
- Ability to uphold personal credibility and maintain confidentiality while aligning with Nyrstar’s Values
