For our Corporate Office, based in Budel-Dorplein, we are looking for a Project Control Manager, reporting to the Global Head of Project Execution.

 

JOB SUMMARY
The Project Control Manager is responsible for maintaining project controls for the group, including capex cost control, project standards and procedures.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide necessary project management support in the form of procedural guidance to project managers at the various sites within the organization.
  • Maintain and develop the central project management control, policies and procedures database.
  • Reviewing project capital estimates and schedules for key projects and providing guidance on best practices and techniques.
  • Collaborating with site leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
  • Management and support of special projects as the need arises not covered by the site project teams.
  • Evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain the company growth project pipeline portfolio.
  • Providing capital reports and budget outlines to Executives.
  • Analysing project data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Assisting sites to report and manage budgets and cash flow on a monthly basis


KEY STAKEHOLDERS & RELATIONSHIPS

  • Internal - Project superintendent, Asset managers on weekly basis, General managers monthly basis and when needed, CFM and CEO adhoc, quarterly planning and annual budgeting.
  • External - Suppliers and engineering providers.


QUALIFICATIONS, WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field study is required.
  • Project Management Certifications required.
  • 5+ years' working experience in similar role, heavy production industry in a supervisory position is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable of project cost estimating.
  • Advanced excel skills and understanding of financial and capital estimating techniques and software
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • English Proficiency, other languages is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to details and technicalities.
  • Willingness to travel from time to time to the 5 sites based in Europe, North America and Australia.
