Overview of the role
Applications are open for Apprentice Mentor in the Services Department for Electrical trades at Nyrstar Port Pirie.
The Apprentice Mentor will ensure adequate leadership, guidance, training and ongoing support for Apprentices are provided and maintained to a high standard while providing guidance on training and technical matters to increase the capability of both apprentices and the apprentice program. This includes the establishment, implementation and administration of training, development of the program and systems, records management and documentation of procedures.
This is a residential role, based in Port Pirie, South Australia working on Monday to Friday roster. Enabling you to enjoy your lifestyle with family and friends, whilst building a successful career.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training or similar would be highly regarded
- Trade certificate Electrical
- Experience in managing people
- Ability to drive and implement change
