Overview of the role
Applications are now open for an Eletrical Compliance Officer to join the Asset Management Team. Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent the successful candidate will ensure compliance to all relevant statutory or legal requirements for all electrical equipment used at our Port Pirie site.
Your experience will enable you to provide day to day technical advice, monitoring existing equipment, equipment modifications and new equipment installations.
This is a residential role, based in Port Pirie, South Australia on a Monday to Friday roster. Relocation assistance will be provided to the successful candidate if required.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Advise stakeholders on best practices to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance
- Audit on-site activities for compliance and generate reports to inform remediation works
- Maintain the relevant registers that demonstrate compliance
- Ensure maintenance and operational personnel understand their obligations regarding compliance
- Manage key contracts and contractors supplying compliance related services
- Maintain the relevant registers that demonstrate compliance reporting to executive management on state of compliance and key risks for maintaining licence to operate
- Drive improvement in total cost of compliance through application of CI methodologies
Qualifications, Skills & Experiences:
- Engineering qualifications at Trade, Diploma level
- Experience with computerised Maintenance management systems (SAP)
- Sound knowledge of the Microsoft suite projects including Projects
