Overview of the role

We are currently seeking a highly collaborative and energetic HR Training Coordinator to join our team. This role is the perfect balance of desk-based computer work and time in field, collaborating with the plant teams to achieve training outcomes.

 

This is a residential full-time role based in Port Pirie, South Australia, however we are open to offering part time (0.8) for the right candidate.

 

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with leaders and team members to achieve training goals and objectives
  • Support leaders to achieve training compliance and coordinate training development opportunities
  • Execute timely and accurate data entry and reporting
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide innovative ideas
  • Take ownership and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities

 

Qualifications, Skills & Experiences:

  • Experience within the mining or heavy industry environment, experience in a similar role and/or Training & Assessor qualifications is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with others and working effectively in a team
  • Proficiency in IT Systems and Microsoft Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Positive attitude and ability to motivate others to drive outcomes
  • Planned and organised approach to work
