Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader you will be responsible for:

  • Routine and breakdown maintenance as well as inspection and monitoring of assets
  • Maintain close liaison and co-operation with operations teams.
  • Manages the day-to-day performance and work activities of the team.
  • Building strong customer focus between maintenance and operating departments.

 

About You

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • Relevant trade qualification (i.e. Cert III Mechanical, Fitter and Turner)
  • Must be able to work within a team environment.
  • A desire to work flexibly to ensure safety, environment and production targets are met.
  • High-level communication skills, with a proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Sound knowledge in the metal processing industry (or similar).
  • SAP experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Knowledge or understanding of continuous improvement is desirable, but not essential.
