Are you an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Drafting Specialist ready to take ownership of all electrical and instrumentation drawing matters at a leading global metals producer? At Nyrstar Port Pirie, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring design accuracy, compliance with standards, and seamless management of our drawing and documentation systems.

About the Role

In this pivotal position, you will serve as the single point of contact for all Electrical and Instrumentation drafting and drawing matters. Developing, maintaining and applying design standards and procedures while managing and uploading drawings in our DMS system (SAP).

• Conduct field verifications to ensure drawings are accurate and up to date.

• Undertake Electrical/Instrumentation/P&ID drafting for projects and plant operations.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Drive innovation and value-adding in design and drafting solutions while ensuring compliance with OH&S and site safety policies.

About You

Associate Diploma or electrical trade qualification) and significant experience in a heavy industrial environment.

• Proficiency in Microstation V8 and/or AutoCAD 2012 or newer.
• Experience with the DMS module in SAP.
• Strong drafting design and documentation management skills.
• High attention to detail
