Overview of the role
Applications are now open for an Electrical Maintenance Shift Team Leader for site.
This role coordinates the execution of electrical maintenance across the Finished Products area, working with a team of Tradespeople and Day Team Leaders reporting to the department Superintendent.
This is a leadership role with immense opportunity to further develop your career. This residential role, based in Port Pirie, South Australia working on a 5/4 even time roster. This is a dayshift only roster of 4 days on, 5 days off, 5 days on, 4 days off, 5 days on, 5 days off. This provides a great balance between work and play, with more days off than the usual two day weekend. This roster provides two weekends off per month for you to enjoy your lifestyle with family and friends, whilst building a successful career. Enjoy the benefits of working with a dynamic team and being home at the end of every shift. Relocation assistance will be provided.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Implementation and effective roll out of the Asset health strategy across the department
- Assist with the effective and efficient implementation of roster systems, trades and contractor utilisation
- Assist the Superintendent in facilitating the delivery of standard work processes with team leaders (meetings, planning and costing)
- Ensure a process of continuous improvement is established and functional throughout the different maintenance streams
- Be an active leader in instilling a culture of inclusiveness, fairness and direction within the team
Qualifications, Skills & Experiences:
- Formal qualifications in Electrical Trade
- 3+ years of on-the-job experience post Trade/Bachelor study
- Sound knowledge and experience in the application of reliability and maintenance management principles and ability to develop preventative maintenance strategies
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills focusing on fixed plant equipment
- Formal leadership qualification or supervisory experience is highly regarded
- Experience in SAP maintenance modules is also highly regarded
