Nyrstar Port Pirie is seeking a proactive and safety-focused Stores Officer to manage the flow of goods from warehouse through to dispatching to site, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure our warehouse operates efficiently and safely.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Receive, sort, dispatch and deliver goods to internal customers
- Conduct stocktakes and manage reorder levels
- Identify and manage obsolete/slow-moving stock
- Maintain warehouse safety, compliance and orderliness
- Handle dangerous goods in line with regulations
What You’ll Bring
- Current forklift licence & manual driver’s licence (essential)
- Strong communication skills & attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Dangerous Goods training & SAP/MS Office skills an advantage
